The official website of the 7th Central Pay Commission has been closed after the implementation of its recommendations. The 7th CPC Panel Committee itself declared as the official website has been quit at the end of 2016. The detailed report is available and further gazette notifications are being published on the official website of the Finance Ministry and DoPT.

On 19 November 2015, the 7th Central Pay Commission recommended 23.55% hike in pay and allowances which will be implemented from 1 January 2016. The full report is available on the website of Ministry of Finance, Government of India

The government has announced the implementation of the Seventh Pay Commission effective from 1 January 2016, which would hike the salaries and allowances for over 1 crore central government employees and pensioners by at least 23.5 percent.
The grade pay is expected to be set at Rs.19,800. Previously, in the 6th Pay Commission, the pay scale of Assistant Professors was between Rs.15,600 to Rs.39,100 and the grade pay was Rs.6,600. There is no changes made to entry level pay in the seventh Pay Commission. It remains at Rs.25,530 per month.
